Hi Perry, and thank you for partaking in Leach’s very first Meet the Team Q&A!

Let’s dive straight in, what is your role at Leach’s?

I am one of the Sales Account Managers, and it’s my role to help existing customer’s find the products they need, as well as onboard new customers. I also undertake some extremely valuable catering duties… supplying plentiful office biscuits.

It’s very important that we get back to biscuits, but before that… what do you love about your job?

I love problem solving. We’re a very customer-focussed business, so finding new ways to overcome their challenges is something I enjoy. As a sales team, we are in constant pursuit of customer satisfaction. I really enjoy the people interaction this involves; it’s incredibly rewarding.

Sounds like you’re very busy! So, what does an average working day look like for you?

Of course, coronavirus has impacted this, but I tend to arrive in the office between 6am – 7am. I like to be in early and have some breakfast and a chat with the rest of the sales team. Then I’ll spend the majority of the day on the phone to customers, quoting, emailing etc. We unwind at the end of the day and plan the next days activity, and get ready to do it all again!

What’s your fuel… tea or coffee?

Tea all day long… but I will sometimes allow myself on coffee in the morning

And back to biscuits… are you a dunker?

Tell us a random fact about Perry…

I have never broken a bone.

And what did you want to be growing up?

A Sales Account Manager at Leach’s first and foremost, of course…
But the first thing I vividly remember is wanting to be a Formula 1 driver.

Finally, what’s been the highlight of your time at Leach’s thus far?

It’s a hard one to call as there’s been many. Something that sticks out from a personal perspective is becoming an Account Manager and being able to service my own customer base.
